While this suite is shown in cream, every boxed invitation can be made in any of our 20 velvet colours — from deep Burgundy and Forest Green to soft Blush, Dusty Pink, and White. Colours 17–20 (Copper, Caviar, Soft Ochre, and Mist) are crafted from suede leather rather than velvet, offering a distinctive textured finish.

The Box and the Monogram
The velvet box itself is the first thing your guests will notice — a soft, tactile cream exterior with a foil-stamped monogram pressed into the lid. The monogram is designed using your initials, giving each box a personalised finishing touch before it is even opened. The box is tied with a satin ribbon, which adds a small ceremonial moment to the act of opening it.
Acrylic or 600gsm Cardboard
Inside the box, your main invitation insert rests in a velvet lodgement, creating the impression that it is floating above the cream velvet background. The invitation itself is foil-pressed with your wedding details in your chosen design and font — and you can choose between two materials for this central piece.
600gsm Cardboard
For a softer, more tactile finish, the main insert can be made from premium 600gsm cardboard. The thickness and texture of the cardboard give the invitation a substantial, paper-led feel, with the foil-pressed wording sitting confidently against the cream velvet lodgement beneath it.
2mm Clear Acrylic
Alternatively, the insert can be made from premium 2mm clear acrylic. The transparency of the acrylic creates the most striking version of the floating effect — the wording appears to hover above the velvet with nothing visibly holding it in place. It is the choice for couples who want a cleaner, more contemporary edge to an otherwise classic suite.

Optional Add-Ons
Shaped Pocket for Inserts
An optional shaped pocket can be attached to the inner side of the lid, keeping all of your wedding information neatly in one place. It holds up to three additional inserts — directions to the venue, accommodation details for guests travelling from further afield, or an RSVP card. It is a practical addition that keeps the suite tidy without compromising on the overall look.
A Velvet Mini-Book
For couples with more information to share, a velvet mini-book is available as an optional add-on. It is crafted from the same cream velvet as the box itself, with a blind-embossed cover reading "INFORMATION — RSVP." The standard page count is three, and it can be expanded up to seven pages — giving you space for a full itinerary, accommodation list, or anything else your guests might need to know.
Finishing Touches: Preserved Hydrangeas
For an extra layer of softness, preserved hydrangeas can be added to the velvet lodgement alongside the invitation — a detail that brings a touch of the garden indoors and adds texture and colour to the unboxing experience. Hydrangeas pair particularly well with the cream velvet, echoing the gentle, organic feel of the box itself.
