DHL On Demand Delivery
Manage your delivery — on your terms
Once your order is dispatched, DHL's On Demand Delivery (ODD) gives you full control over how, when, and where your parcel is delivered — for free. You'll receive a notification by email or SMS with a link to manage your shipment before it arrives.
A note from our team
For your convenience, DHL also offers a helpful service called On Demand Delivery (ODD). Once your tracking number is active in their system, you can visit the DHL On Demand Delivery website. There, you will have several options to manage your delivery, including:
- Collection from a DHL Service Point or Locker — You can choose to have the parcel delivered to a local DHL office or a nearby partner shop to pick it up at your convenience.
- Rescheduling the delivery — You can pick a specific day that works better for you.
- Signature release — You can authorise them to leave the parcel in a safe place.
Your Six Delivery Options
Once you receive your DHL notification, you can choose from up to six options depending on your location and availability. Not all options may be available in every country.
Choose a delivery date that works better for you. You can postpone delivery by up to 30 calendar days from the originally scheduled date — useful if you're travelling or away.
Have your parcel delivered to a different address within the same country — your workplace, a friend's home, or any other address that suits you better.
Choose a convenient DHL Express Service Point or Locker near you. Your parcel will be held securely for up to 7 days — collect it when it suits you.
Authorise DHL to leave your parcel at your address without requiring a signature — useful if you know you won't be home but are happy for the parcel to be left safely.
Nominate a trusted neighbour to receive your shipment on your behalf. You'll need to provide their name, address, and any gate or door code for the courier.
Nominate a trusted person — a concierge, family member, or colleague — to receive your shipment on your behalf using the air waybill number.
